Visit Coal Mine Käpfnach

On Tuesday, 20 October 2026, we will meet from 6:45 pm to 9:15 pm for a guided tour of the Käpfnach Mine. At the mining museum, we will learn more about the eventful history of the mine and watch a black-and-white documentary from the last mining period during the Second World War. Afterwards, we will put on our helmets and ride the visitor train through the 1.4 km tunnel network. We will round off the evening with a cozy miners’ drink before leaving the mine again after approximately 2¼ to 2½ hours. Please wear warm clothing and sturdy, closed shoes.
